Planning is underway for a new hospital in the Region of Waterloo.
St. Mary’s General Hospital and Grand River Hospital announced Wednesday they are collaborating on a new project to build new hospital infrastructure in K-W.
Kitchener’s two hospitals, Grand River and St. Mary’s General, said they had submitted a proposal to the provincial government to build a new hospital in the area and make some changes to the current facilities.
Following the recent commitment from the Ontario government to invest $5 million to support this planning, the hospitals are formally launching the next phase of this project, called “Building the Future of Care Together”.
Grand River Hospital and St. Mary’s General Hospital announced plans Wednesday to replace both aging buildings and bring the Kitchener hospitals together in a new state-of-the-art hospital, cementing their long-standing partnership.
Following the recent commitment from the Ontario government to invest $5 million to support this planning, the hospitals are formally launching the next phase of this project, called “Building the Future of Care Together”.
